Mark Labonte – Church visit

“It’s very important that in the days that we’re living, more than ever before, we should allow the Lord to build strong relationships between us.

As we walk in God, we must persevere in brotherly love (Hebrews 13:1-6). We must be willing to let every barrier fall between us and allow God to bring us together, to set us free from prejudices, from everything that is from our sinful nature and the influence of the world that affects the way I see my brother or sister. For God to give us the joy and the love to be together. This love must come from our hearts. It’s not something that we try to do ourselves but it comes to our hearts by the work of the Holy Spirit. It’s the sacrifice of Jesus that has broken down barriers, for us to be free from anything that can stop us from living the way and the kind of life that God has called us to live.

We must allow people in our lives that can challenge us. How can we get the character and the nature of Christ if we are not confronted and see our need to change?

Persevere and continue in brotherly love…
One sign of growth in the life of a Christian is their love for the Body of Christ, His Church.
It’s very important that we flee from the selfish kind of life that is in the world. It’s wonderful how the Holy Spirit is faithful and shows us every time when we miss it, that we need to repent. You need to repent of that selfish life and deny it and live the life of God.” – Marc Labonté, 25/08/19
