Do you love the Gospel?

On the first weekend of June, we had the joy of having our brother Miki and his wife Audrey in Bournemouth.

On the Saturday Miki shared on the importance of loving the Gospel of the Cross, not to use it to get anything for our own gain, but counting it as a joy and a privilege to lose our lives for Him. He stressed on the fact that we cannot love the Gospel from far, but to take part in the suffering of Christ, that it’s only when we accept the work of the Cross in us that He can change us.
Luke 24:13 – 35
John 6:68
Philipians 1:3-6

On the Sunday, Miki encouraged us to remember the plan of God for all of us when we go through various trials and afflictions, being called to be conformed to the image of Christ.
“And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.” Romans 8:28-39
2 tim 3:10-11
He reminded us that the message of the Cross is not a message of defeat, but rather one of victory – over sin, our flesh and many other area’s of our lives!

The church in Bournemouth has been really challenged and so blessed to have had Miki & Audrey over that time. What a blessing to be part of an apostolic church!
